My primary goal, as your wedding photographer, is to ensure you can fully be present in the joy and celebration of your special day. While we'll definitely dedicate some time to capturing those essential moments, like the family portraits you'll treasure forever, I approach the majority of the day with a documentary-style perspective. I'll be there to subtly guide you when needed, offering gentle prompts and suggestions for poses that feel authentic to who you are as a couple.
I firmly believe that your wedding shouldn't feel like an all-day photo shoot; it should feel like a celebration of you both.

The Booking Process
Let's find a time to chat about your wedding day!
Choosing a photographer is a big deal! I always want to make sure I am someone with whom you feel comfortable on your wedding day. I also want to hear about how you envision your day so I can ensure that I'm a good fit for you and address any questions you may have.
We talk and you think I am the one
I will send over my contract and require a $500 deposit via credit card, bank transfer, or, if you prefer, a check. I can provide details on where to mail the check. From then on, I am all yours to help with any timeline, questions, etc
Let's get coffee or set up a FaceTime call! I really love getting to know couples before their wedding day, and this is when we finalize their timeline and review the family portrait list and wait for the big day!

do you offer payment plans?
Yes! For weddings, I require a $500 non-refundable retainer with the contract; the remaining can be set up in a payment plan.

Do you travel for sessions?
Yes! There is a slight travel fee if over an hour from St. Charles, IL
What happens if it rains?
I'm all for changing things up and going with the flow, but if you envision a sunny day, we can definitely pick a new date or change locations.
Can we bring our pets?
The answer is 1000% yes. As a dog mom who recently lost her soul dog, I don't care if they aren't perfectly trained; bring them, they are part of your story.
will you give us raws?
No, RAW/ unedited photos will not be given to clients under any circumstances. Please review my work and ensure your vision aligns with my style.
Can we choose our location?
Absolutely! If you have a place in mind or need ideas i'm here to help. I have a list of gorgeous locations to choose from, and I'm more than happy to come up with new ideas too.
